The Patiño Law Firm is a staunch supporter of the local community and public education. We sponsor the law academy programs at Alonzo & Tracy Mourning Senior High School, American Senior High School, Westland Hialeah Senior High, and Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High. We are extremely hands on, mentoring and providing summer internships in our office. We also host judicial panels, and arrange visits to courthouses where high-school students are given tours, sit in on cases and meet judges for question-and-answer sessions. Additionally, we provide internships to the students of Miami Dade College Paralegal studies program.
In 2016, The Patiño Law Firm launched it’s #PLFSuitsforStudents initiative. We collect gently used business attire and work with students who have a need for business attire. The collected professional attire makes a major impact on the lives of our students. Donations afford our students a level of confidence as they compete, and engage with members of the legal community at different events throughout the year.
The firm also partners with Florida Supreme Court Justice Fred Lewis’ “Justice Teaching” program, Judge Beth Bloom and the “Listen Up” program, and the Miami-Dade County Teen Court program. Our firm is also honored to help support annual “Law Day” activities at the Hialeah Branch Courthouse and the North Dade Justice Center. The firm is also honored to partner with Miami Dade College North Campus for the yearly Constitution Day Celebration.
Mr. Patiño and his team are also supporters of The Miami Rescue Mission, His House Children’s Home, Our Kids of Miami Dade County and G.R.A.C.E. Court Assisting Victims of Human Trafficking.
